FAQ</h2></div></div><h3><a name="d0e338"></a>After a new production installation, I cannot change the admin password, why?</h3><p>Please enable cookies in your browser, especially if you do a new installation for production environment.</p><h3><a name="d0e342"></a>The installer throws a "Access Forbidden" error message</h3><p>Should you have problems with the installer, showing the Apache error message:<p></p>

"Forbidden<p></p>
You don't have permission to access some-path-here on this server.<p></p>
<p></p>
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."<p></p>

Then the problem might lie in your httpd.conf. Checkout Apaches error_log file (usually in /var/log/httpd/). If you encounter the following error message, then change the settings in httpd.conf accordingly:<p></p>

"Options FollowSymLinks or SymLinksIfOwnerMatch is off which implies that RewriteRule directive is forbidden"<p></p>
<p></p>
Which means you have to set the directives "FollowSymLinks" or "SymLinksIfOwnerMatch" to "on" in httpd.conf.<p></p>
<p></p>
