This PHP script is mainly used to dump and restore system folders into/out of archives. It recursively traverses a folder, build an archive with the contents of the directory files, and saves it in a desired location.
It can also do the opposite, recreate the original directory structure and file contents retrieving it from a previously generated contents file. File owners and permissions are remembered.
