HttpAuthPlus works with any SQL database and flat-file system.
HttpAuthPlus can be used to manage access to protected pages. It provides methods for adding, editing, and removing users from a local or remote database.

PEAR's DB class
Limitations:
- All usernames and email addresses must be unique.
- When using a flat-file scheme, usernames, passwords and emails must not contain the '|' character as this is used as the field delimiter.
