Mistpark provides a distributed PHP SNS(social networking system) with strong privacy controls. It includes micro-blogging, location tagging, sharing photos, videos, links and private messages.

You can also link to and communicate with friends in OStatus networks such as status.net and identi.ca. More networks will be supported in the future.

Requirements:
- Apache with mod-rewrite enabled and "Options All" so you can use a local .htaccess file
- PHP 5.1 or Higher
- Mysql 5.0 or Higher
- ability to schedule jobs with cron (Linux/Mac) or Scheduled Tasks (Windows)
- Installation into a top-level domain or sub-domain
